Our first couple of attempts at The 24 Hour Miracle didn't quite work out as planned, but...

That doesn't mean we're giving up on this amazing idea. Not a chance!

I'm working on some new ways to make The 24 Hour Miracle happen, and it's going to be awesome when it does! Imagine when we're able to contribute 1000's of meals to a local food bank in one 24 hour period. How cool is that going to be?

9/11 Never forget

On 9/11, it's important that we remember and commemorate those who lost their lives on that day and over the last 10 years fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Thank you to the servicemen and women serving in the US Armed Forces and the first responders who defend, protect and serve us every day.

Also thank you to the families, especially the strong military wives who take care of house and home while their husbands, sons and daughters are off defending our freedom.

Another beautiful day in Tampa

I've been in Tampa for almost a week now and I love it more and more every day! It's another beautiful day in Tampa.

I'll be making a big push over the next 3 days to accomplish our goal of contributing 3000 meals to the Tampa Food Bank. I'll be out in the community sharing the Tampa Discount Card with people and I'll continue building my network on Social Networking sites, like Twitter.

This has been a very exhilarating experience and I can't wait until we accomplish our goal here in Tampa!

This week in Tampa has inspired me to take this vision across the country. My goal is to save thousands of consumers thousands of dollars and contribute thousands of meals to food banks across the country.

It all started right here in Tampa!

The fastest way for us to accomplish The 24 Hour Miracle is to get 10 - $100 sponsors for the month of September.

Sponsor us for the month of September and we will tweet and blog about you and your products or services. We will wear your promotional gear and take pictures wherever we go. For example, if my favorite beverage, Dr. Pepper sponsors me, I'll not only drink Dr. Pepper every day, which I almost always do anyway, but I'll wear a Dr. Pepper t-shirt every day for a month and take a picture wearing my Dr. Pepper shirt and drinking an ice cold Dr. Pepper every day for a month and post those pictures to twitter and my blog!

The 24 Hour Miracle

The 24 Hour Miracle was an idea that came to me as I was wondering how I could get myself and my family out of a bad situation!

We are NOT looking for a handout. We want to earn your support, this is a creative approach to get us out of a sticky situation. What we'd like to do is work with as many people as possible over the next 24 hours and find people and companies who are willing to provide a product or service or discount on a product or service that we can share with as many people as possible for a contribution to our 24 Hour Miracle.

Our 24 Hour Miracle goal is to raise $1,000 that we can use to pay our rent and our bills for September. This $1,000 buys us time, it gives us time to find or create gainful employment. With your help, this effort might just result in something in excess of our goal, it just might create the stability that we need to provide for our family.

I just want to reiterate, we are NOT looking for a handout. We want to earn your support.

If you're willling to contribute $10 to our 24 Hour Miracle fund, then let us know how we can earn your $10.  If you're a company who is willing to sponsor us for the month for $100, let us know how we can earn your sponsorship.
